Ingredients

1 c. Crisco
1/2 c. confectioners sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. plain flour
1 egg, beaten
pinch of salt
Preparation

Mix all ingredients; form in small balls.
Make indentations with thumb.
Bake at 375\u00b0 until the bottom of the cookie is brown but the top is still white.
