Caramel Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. sugar
    1 c. Pet milk
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    pecans
Preparation
    Place 1/4 cup
    sugar
    in
    skillet
    and\tmelt,
    stirring constantly until light
    brown syrup forms.\tGradually add milk and blend well.
    Add
    remaining
    2 cups sugar and cook to soft ball stage.
    Remove
    from heat; add butter and vanilla.\tCool. Pour in buttered pan.
    Cut in squares and top with pecans.
