Sauerkraut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 jar or can sauerkraut (30 oz. approximately), rinsed and drained
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/3 c. vinegar
    2 c. diced celery
    1 medium sweet onion, diced
    1 green pepper, diced
    1 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Mix sugar and vinegar together; pour over drained sauerkraut. Add celery, onion, green pepper and celery seed.
    Refrigerate for 24 hours before serving.
    Keeps well.
