Basic Foolproof Pie Crust - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. all purpose flour
    1 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. shortening
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 egg, beaten
    3-4 Tbsp. ice water
Preparation
    Blend flour, salt and shortening into coarse crumbs.
    Mix vinegar, beaten egg and ice water together; add to flour mixture. Add more water if necessary to work into soft dough ball. Refrigerate 30 minutes to let dough rest.
    Press into pie plate.
