Broccoli And Cheese Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 bunch broccoli
    3 eggs
    2/3 c. milk
    1 1/4 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Discard large leaves and tough parts of stalks.
    Wash.
    Split stalks into halves or quarters so they will cook quickly.
    Cook flowerets and stalk pieces in small amount of salted water until tender.
    Drain; place in shallow greased casserole.
    Beat eggs. Add milk, cheese, salt and pepper.
    Mix. Pour over broccoli.
    Set casserole in pan with about 1-inch of hot water.
    Bake in preheated moderate oven (350\u00b0) until firm, about 30 minutes.
