Aunt Leila'S Jalapeno Corn Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. plain flour
2 1/2 c. plain cornmeal
4 tsp. baking powder
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. salt
3 eggs
1 1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. cooking oil
1 (1 lb.) can yellow corn (cream-style)
6 to 10 jalapenos, minced (also use seeds)
2 c. grated sharp cheese
2 c. grated or chopped onions
Preparation

Combine first 5 ingredients.
In separate bowl, beat the eggs lightly and stir in milk and cooking oil.
Add liquid mixture to cornmeal mixture and stir in corn and minced jalapenos.
Add cheese and onions.
