Buster Bar - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) pkg. Oreo cookies
    1/3 c. melted butter
    1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream
    2 to 3 oz. peanuts
    2 (12 oz.) cans evaporated milk
    2 c. confectioners sugar
    1/2 c. margarine
    2/3 c. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Crush cookies well.
    Mix with butter and press into a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
    Spread ice cream (softened slightly) over crust.
    Sprinkle with peanuts.
    Freeze until firm.
    Combine evaporated milk and remaining ingredients in saucepan.
    Bring to a boil.
    Boil 8 minutes.
    Cool completely.
    Pour over ice cream and peanuts.
    Freeze.
    Serves 12 to 16.
