Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. squash
    small onion
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 egg
    cheese
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Cook squash and onion 30 to 40 minutes in water.
    Drain.
    Add butter; mash.
    Beat egg, add to squash mixture.
    Add salt and pepper to taste.
    Butter casserole dish; layer squash, cheese, squash and cheese.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 to 375\u00b0 oven for 20 minutes.
