Mixed Vegetable Fry - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. potatoes
    1 c. green tomatoes
    1 c. okra
    1 c. onions
    black pepper and salt
    1 c. yellow squash
    1 c. shortening
    1/2 c. meal
    1/2 c. flour
    1 bell pepper (if desired)
Preparation
    Stick all this, except shortening, in a large bowl.
    Mix well. Add to the hot shortening or oil.
    Cook, uncovered.
    Stir where browned as little as possible so vegetables retain their shape. Cook in large skillet 30 minutes.
