Grandma'S Hot Water Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. meal
    1 tsp. lite salt (Morton)
    2 Tbsp. sugar (optional)
    about 2 1/2 c. boiling hot water
Preparation
    Notes:
    The sugar helps the pones to brown and improves flavor.
    One cup yellow meal and 1 cup white meal is best.
    Use a medium size mixing bowl.
