Patriotic Birthday "Little Logs" - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    white cake mix
    chocolate fudge frosting
Preparation
    Prepare cake mix as directed and bake in paper baking cups as directed on package.
    Cool.
    Remove paper baking cups.
    Put two cupcakes together end to end with frosting to form logs.
    Frost sides, leaving ends of logs (tops of cupcakes) unfrosted.
    With tines of fork, make lines in frosting to resemble bark.
    Decorate each log with a hatchet cut from construction paper.
    Makes 12 to 15 logs.
