Crunchy Nut Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. white sugar
    1 c. brown sugar, packed
    1/2 c. soft shortening
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
    Mix sugars, shortening, eggs and vanilla.
    Sift flour, soda and salt; stir in and add nuts.
    Shape level tablespoon into ball.
    Place on ungreased baking sheet.
    Flatten with bottom of glass dipped in sugar.
