Pecan Sandies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 c. butter
    2 tsp. water
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. flour
    1 c. chopped pecans
    powdered sugar
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add water and vanilla and mix well. Blend in flour and nuts.
    Chill for 4 hours.
    Shape into balls or fingers.
    Bake for 20 minutes at 350\u00b0 on an ungreased cookie sheet.
    Cool slightly and roll in powdered sugar.
