Melting Lace Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. quick cooking oats (not instant)
    1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1/3 c. all-purpose flour
    2 Tbsp. milk
    1/4 tsp. salt
    4 sq. (1 oz. each) chocolate
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease two large cookie sheets; set aside.
    In medium saucepan, melt butter.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in remaining ingredients except chocolate.
    Drop batter by level teaspoon 2 inches apart on cookie sheets.
    Bake only 6 at a time. Bake 7 to 9 minutes or until lightly browned.
    Remove from oven. Let stand 1 minute, then quickly remove to flat surface to cool. Repeat with remaining batter.
    Melt chocolate over hot, not boiling, water.
    With small knife or spatula, spread the back of one cookie with chocolate and sandwich it with a second cookie. Repeat with remaining cookies and chocolate.
    Store in airtight containers or freeze.
    Makes 2 dozen.
    About 100 calories each.
