Spoon Bread - cooking recipe

1 c. plain corn meal
1 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. flour
2 c. boiling water
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. milk
2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Pour boiling water over corn meal, salt, sugar and flour.
Mix well.
Add eggs, baking powder and milk.
Mix well.
Melt butter or margarine in casserole and pour in mixture.
Blend in butter. Cook 45 minutes in a 400\u00b0 oven.
