Honey Whole Wheat Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. active dry yeast
    1/2 c. warm water
    1/3 c. honey
    1/4 c. vegetable shortening (not oil)
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 1/4 c. warm water
    3 c. whole wheat flour
    3 to 4 c. all-purpose flour
    margarine or butter, softened
Preparation
    In a large mixing bowl, dissolve the yeast in the 1/2 cup warm water.
    Stir in honey, shortening, salt, 1 3/4 cup warm water and the whole wheat flour.
    Beat until smooth.
    Mix in enough all-purpose white flour to make the dough easy to handle.
    (Should not be sticky.)
