Irish Tony'S Italian Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. sweet Italian sausage meat
    3/4 c. chopped onions
    1 clove garlic, minced
    2 cans (14 oz.) beef broth
    1 can (16 oz.) stewed tomatoes
    1/2 c. white wine
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. each oregano, basil and marjoram, crushed
    1/4 tsp. thyme, crushed
    2 oz. fettuccine, linguine or spaghetti
    1 pkg. (16 oz.) frozen Italian style vegetables
    1 can (16 oz.) kidney beans
    1 can (14 oz.) chicken broth or 2 bouillon cubes
    freshly ground pepper
    grated parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Saute sausage, breaking up into small pieces.
    Add onions and garlic and cook for 3-4 minutes.
    Drain fat if necessary.
    Add beef broth, tomatoes, wine, sugar, herbs.
    Simmer 10 minutes.
    Add vegetables and bring back to a boil.
    Break pasta into 2 inch lengths and add. Simmer 10-15 minutes.
    Add chicken broth if more liquid is desired.
    If bouillon cubes are used, add 2 c. water. Sprinkle with pepper.
    Serve with Parmesan cheese.
