Monkey Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 c. boiling water
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    2 eggs, beaten
    2 pkg. dry yeast
    1 c. warm water
    6 c. flour
Preparation
Pour boiling water over shortening; mix. Add sugar, salt and eggs slightly beaten; mix. Dissolve 2 packages dry yeast in 1 cup warm water. Add to liquids. Stir in 6 cups (or less) flour gradually; set aside in warm place to rise until double in bulk, approximately 50 to 60 minutes, then roll out as for biscuits. Cut with biscuit cutter. Turn in melted butter and stack in Bundt pans. They'll be about 1/3 full. Let rise until double in bulk (40 to 50 minutes).
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour or until brown. Makes 2 loaves.
