Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. round steak, cut in 1-inch strips
    1/4 c. shortening
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    season to taste with salt, pepper and garlic
    1 can mushrooms with juice
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1 can beef broth
    1 box sour cream
Preparation
    Brown meat quickly in shortening; add onions and mushrooms. Cook until tender, then add beef broth and sour cream and simmer 30 minutes.
    Serve over buttered egg noodles or rice.
