Shrimp Creole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/2 c. diced green pepper
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes
    1 small can tomato sauce
    1 bay leaf
    2 whole cloves
    1 1/2 lb. shrimp, cooked and cleaned
    fluffy rice
Preparation
    Cook onion and pepper in oil.
    Add next six ingredients. Bring to a boil.
    Cover and simmer 30 minutes.
    Remove cloves and bay leaf.
    Add shrimp and heat through.
    Serve over rice.
    Makes 4 servings.
