White Fruit Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 large eggs, well beaten with electric mixer
1/2 lb. butter or margarine
1 c. white sugar
1 3/4 c. plain flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 lb. candied cherries (red and green)
1 lb. candied pineapple (mixed colors)
4 c. pecans, cut up
1/2 oz. bottle vanilla
1/2 oz. bottle lemon
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar well.
Add eggs and mix thoroughly. Mix chopped fruit and nuts with 1/2 cup flour.
Sift remaining flour with baking powder.
Fold into egg and butter mixture.
Add flavoring and mix well.
Add fruits and nuts.
Mix well.
(This mixes better by using your hand.)
Put in greased tube pan lined with brown paper bag paper.
Place in oven at 250\u00b0 for 3 hours.
