Pasta E Fagioli(Pasta Fayool) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can kidney beans, undrained
    2 to 3 cloves garlic
    1/2 large can tomatoes
    1/2 large bunch celery, including leaves, finely cut
    1/4 tsp. oregano
    1/2 c. oil
    several sprigs parsley
    red pepper to taste
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 lb. ditalini macaroni
Preparation
    Simmer all ingredients, except kidney beans and ditalini, together until celery is tender.
    Add kidney beans in their liquid to mixture to warm.
    Lastly, add ditalini, about 10 to 15 minutes before serving.
    Add water, as needed, throughout cooking to maintain consistency of a thick soup.
