Raisin Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. white corn syrup
    3 large eggs, lightly beaten
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. grated lemon rind
    3/4 tsp. allspice
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1 c. raisins, plumped
    1/4 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
    unbaked 9-inch pie shell, chilled
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Combine syrup, eggs, sugar, butter, salt, lemon rind, allspice and nutmeg.
    Mix well.
    Add raisins and nuts.
    Pour into pie shell.
    Bake 10 minutes.
    Reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and bake 30 to 35 minutes longer.
    Filling solidifies further on cooling.
    Serves 6 to 8.
