Geanine'S Butter Crunchies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter
    1 c. sugar
    3 c. quick oats
    1 (12 oz.) bag Nestle chocolate chips
    1 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 300\u00b0.
    Melt butter in a pan.
    Add sugar and mix until butter is gone from pan sides.
    Add oats and stir until coated with butter mixture.
    Spread mixture evenly in a jelly roll pan.
    Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until lightly browned.
    Remove from oven and sprinkle with chips.
    Return to oven for 3 minutes to melt chips.
    Spread over base.
    Sprinkle with nuts.
    Wait 5 minutes. Cut into squares.
