Oven Beef Stew - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. beef stew meat
salt
pepper
flour
3 Tbsp. lard
2 medium onions, chopped
1 3/4 c. water
1 can condensed tomato soup
1 small bay leaf
3 whole cloves
1 stalk celery, sliced
4 carrots, sliced
3 medium potatoes, cut in eighths
1 c. canned peas (8 oz. can)
Preparation

Cut meat into 1-inch cubes; sprinkle with salt and pepper and dredge in flour.
Melt fat in skillet and in it, brown meat thoroughly.
