Old Fashioned Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. butter
1/2 c. Crisco oil
3 c. sugar
3 c. plain flour, sifted
5 eggs, 1 at a time
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. lemon extract (optional)
1 tsp. almond extract (optional)
Preparation

Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
Grease and flour tube pan.
Cream butter and oil.
Add sugar.
Beat well with mixer and add 1 egg at a time.
Sift all dry ingredients together.
Alternate dry ingredients and buttermilk.
Mix.
Bake 1 hour and 20 minutes.
