Russian Creme - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small envelope gelatin
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 c. boiling water
    pinch of salt
    1 c. heavy cream or whipping cream
    1 c. sour cream
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    raspberries/strawberries
Preparation
    Thoroughly mix
    gelatin with sugar.
    Add water and stir until sugar
    and
    gelatin
    are
    completely dissolved.
    Stir in heavy cream.
    Chill
    until
    slightly
    thickened (35 minutes). Add sour cream and vanilla.
    Blend with rotary beater and add fruit.
    Beat until bubbly.
    Pour into 1 quart bowl or individual molds.
    Chill until set.
    Unmold on plate and garnish.
