Gingerbread Cookies(Rolled) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening (Crisco)
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. molasses
    1 egg
    2 1/2 c. sifted flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Cream the first 3 ingredients.
    Add the egg and mix well.
    Add the flour, salt, soda, baking powder, ginger, cloves, cinnamon and nutmeg; mix thoroughly. Store dough at least 2 hours in refrigerator before rolling on floured board and cutting into cookies.
    Roll at least 1/4-inch thick. Bake 10 to 12 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven.
    Use an ungreased cookie sheet.
