Smothered Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 T-bone steaks
3/4 c. oil
flour (to dredge)
1 onion, chopped
salt and pepper
water
1/2 c. beer (optional)
Preparation

Salt and pepper tenderized steaks.
Flour and brown steaks in hot oil. Remove steaks and drain excess oil. Add flour left in skillet and brown.
Saute onion in this mixture.
Add water and/or beer. Stir until smooth. Add steaks and simmer 10 to 15 minutes. Season to taste, the mixture.
