Cauliflower Au Gratin - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1/2 c. chopped, cooked ham
    6 Tbsp. butter
    1 head cauliflower, broken into florets
    1 1/2 c. heavy cream
    2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    pepper to taste
    1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
    1 1/2 c. shredded Swiss cheese
    3 Tbsp. chopped, fresh parsley
Preparation
    Preheat oven broiler. In a large skillet, saut garlic and ham in butter over medium heat for 2 minutes. Add cauliflower. Stir and cook until tender but still crisp. In a small bowl, combine cream, flour, salt, pepper and cayenne pepper. Blend well with whisk. Slowly stir flour mixture into skillet. Cook and stir until thickened. Simmer 1 additional minute. Pour into a 2-quart baking dish. Sprinkle with cheese. Place under broiler until lightly browned, about 2 to 4 minutes. Sprinkle with parsley and serve.
