Cheesy Chicken Pitas(This Is A Lo-Cholesterol Recipe) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. red, green and/or yellow peppers
1 small onion, sliced
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut in strips
lettuce
1 minced garlic clove
2 pita breads, cut in half
Dijon mustard
4 slices (lite) processed cheese
Preparation

Toss peppers and onion in a small bowl.
Spray small skillet with nonstick cooking spray.
Add chicken and garlic and cook over medium heat until tender.
Spread each bread half with mustard. Fill with chicken, two cheese halves and 1/4 cup pepper mixture. Cover loosely and microwave on High 30 seconds or until cheese melts.
Add shredded lettuce.
