Cabbage Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    9 strips bacon
    1 1/2 c. chopped onion
    16 oz. tomatoes
    1 Tbsp. beef bouillon grains
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 chopped jalapeno pepper or 1/3 c. salsa
    1 1/2 lb. cabbage
    2 Tbsp. sauce and gravy flour (Wondra)
Preparation
    In a saucepan, fry the bacon and onion until the bacon is crisp.
    Remove the bacon, chop and set side.
    Add tomatoes, bouillon, sugar and pepper or salsa.
    As the tomato mixture comes to a boil, chop the cabbage.
    Mix it in and simmer 20 minutes. Stir in flour and bring to a boil.
    Place in a serving bowl and garnish with chopped bacon.
    Serves 10.
