New England Dinner Au Gratin - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. cabbage, coarsely chopped
    3 medium potatoes (18 oz. total), cut into 1-inch cube (unpeeled)
    2 c. carrots, sliced 1/2-inch thick
    1 1/2 c. leeks (white part only), sliced 1/2-inch thick
    1 tsp. caraway seed
    2 tsp. paprika
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 c. water
    6 oz. shredded low-fat Cheddar cheese (1 to 1 1/2 c.)
Preparation
    Place cabbage, potatoes, carrots and leeks in 4-quart Dutch oven.
    Sprinkle spices over vegetables and mix well.
    Add water.
