Dixie Lily Basic Biscuits - cooking recipe

2 c. sifted Dixie Lily self-rising flour
1/2 c. shortening
3/4 c. milk
Preparation

Preheat oven to 450\u00b0.
Cut shortening into flour until mixed; add enough milk to make soft dough.
Stir with a fork only until dough leaves side of bowl.
Turn dough out onto lightly floured board or pastry cloth and knead just until smooth.
