Peanut Butter Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    2 Tbsp. unsalted butter
    6 Tbsp. chunky peanut butter
Preparation
    Generously butter a 12-inch plate.
    Combine the sugar, milk and salt in a small saucepan.
    Heat to soft ball stage (240\u00b0 on thermometer); turn off the heat.
    Stir in the vanilla, butter and peanut butter.
    Mix well and pour onto buttered plate.
    Let cool, then cut into squares.
    Makes about 2 dozen pieces.
