Strawberry Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sugar
    6 c. water
    1 (46 oz.) can pineapple juice
    2 cans frozen orange juice, thawed (do not dilute)
    1 (12 oz.) can frozen lemonade
    5 bananas, mashed
Preparation
    Dissolve sugar in warm water. Add remaining ingredients. Freeze. (Keeps up to 1 month.) Just before serving, thaw to slush. Add 3 bottles ginger ale to
    2 quarts of the mixture. Garnish with fresh strawberries.
