Old Timey Syllabub - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. apple juice
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    dash of salt
    2 c. whipping cream, whipped
    ground nutmeg
Preparation
    Combine apple juice, sugar, milk, vanilla and salt.
    Using a whisk, gently fold in whipping cream until frothy and well combined.
    Serve immediately or refrigerate, covered, several hours or overnight.
    Cream will rise to top of mixture.
    Whisk again before serving.
    Sprinkle with nutmeg.
    Serves 12.
