Swedish Meatballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground pork
    3 lb. ground beef
    2 c. milk
    1 onion, chopped
    8 slices white bread
    2 Tbsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. ginger
    1/2 tsp. allspice
Preparation
    Soak bread in milk.
    Mix with pork, beef, onion and seasonings.
    Knead well. Shape into balls and brown in pan on top of stove.
    Place in roasting pan. Add water to drippings in frying pan. Scrape loose any browned bits of meat and pour this over the meatballs in the roaster. Bake 1 hour at 300\u00b0.
    Add potato water to broth and thicken with cornstarch for gravy.
