Scottish Scones - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
2 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. cream tartar
3/4 c. milk
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients together. Cut in butter. Stir in milk to make a soft dough. Divide into 2 round portions. Cut each round into 4 wedges. Place on baking sheet. Brush with milk. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 12-15 minutes. Serve warm with preserves.
