Butter Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 lb. soft butter, not melted
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
    6 c. all-purpose flour
Preparation
    Cream butter, powdered sugar and vanilla together.
    Add eggs and beat well. Add flour gradually and mix well.
    The dough is soft and will be easiest to work with if cooled for an hour or so before using.
