Little Fruit Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. dates, chopped
    1/2 lb. each: red and green candied cherries, chopped
    1/2 lb. candied pineapple
    1/2 lb. pecans (2 c.), chopped
    1 lb. walnuts (4 c.), chopped
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. butter
    2 eggs
Preparation
    Work butter until soft and creamy.
    Add sugar gradually until smooth.
    Beat in eggs thoroughly.
    Stir in flour combination and all chopped fruit and nuts.
    Batter will be very thick.
    Spoon or shape dough, about 1 teaspoon, into round, flat sizes.
    Dough will rise a little.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 approximately 10 minutes.
    Makes approximately 12 1/2 dozen.
