Ann'S Red Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. diced onions
    1 lb. sausage
    12 slices fried bacon
    1 c. diced bell peppers
    1/2 c. sliced mushrooms
    3 c. rice
    2 (15 oz.) cans tomato sauce
Preparation
    Fry sausage and bacon.
    Dice onions, peppers and mushroom and saute for 5 minutes.
    Stir in 3 cups of rice.
    Fry until brown. Add 4 cups tomato sauce.
    Bring to a boil.
    Simmer for approximately 1 hour.
    Makes about 8 servings.
