Apple Crisp - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. sliced apples (Granny Smith's are best)
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
little salt
1 c. water
little lemon juice
Preparation

Grease casserole dish; add apples, water and lemon juice which has been mixed with spices.
Work together sugar, salt, flour and butter until crumbly.
Spread over apples.
Bake (at about 350\u00b0) uncovered until apples are tender.
Serve warm plain or with whipped cream or ice cream.
