Make-Ahead Breakfast Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. sausage
    3 slices bread (1-inch cubes)
    1 c. shredded sharp cheese (4 oz.)
    6 eggs
    2 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. salt and pepper to your taste
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard (optional)
Preparation
    Crumble sausage into skillet and brown over medium heat, stirring.
    Drain off grease.
    Spread bread squares in bottom of 12 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish, greased with butter.
    Spread sausage and cheese over bread.
