Ingredients

1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
4 whole eggs
1 pt. jam
1 tsp. soda
3 c. flour
1 tsp. nutmeg
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. pecans
1 c. raisins
Preparation

Cream the butter and sugar. Add beaten eggs and jam.
Sift soda, flour and spices together.
Add dry ingredients alternately with buttermilk to creamed mixture. Add pecans and raisins. Pour in angel food cake pan which has been buttered and floured.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
