Ingredients

large can beets
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
slightly more than 1/4 c. vinegar
2 Tbsp. slightly rounded flour, mixed with sugar
Preparation

Pour off almost 3/4 cup juice; add vinegar.
Mix with sugar, flour and salt and cook over medium heat until thickened.
Pour beets into mixture until hot through.
