Chicken Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. cooked chicken, cut up (leftover turkey works well also)
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/3 c. mayonnaise
2 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
2 pkg. frozen asparagus or chopped broccoli
1 can sliced mushrooms
1 Tbsp. onion, finely chopped
1 c. sharp cheddar cheese, grated
slivered almonds
Preparation

Place a layer of meat on the bottom of a glass baking dish. Mix the soups, mayonnaise and lemon juice.
Pour 1/2 of the mixture over the meat.
Spread asparagus (or broccoli), mushrooms and onions over the mixture.
Season with salt and pepper.
Pour remaining soup mixture over vegetables.
Sprinkle grated cheese and slivered almonds on top.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes.
