Pesto Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. fresh basil leaves, washed
3 cloves garlic, peeled
3 Tbsp. lightly toasted pine nuts, walnuts or almonds
3/4 c. extra-virgin olive oil
1/2 c. fresh shredded Parmesan cheese
Preparation

Place basil leaves, garlic, nuts and oil in a blender.
Blend until leaves are pulverized.
Add cheese.
Blend a little longer. Yields 1 1/2 cups pesto sauce.
