Shortbread Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. butter
    1 c. sugar
    4 c. flour
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Gradually add flour and blend good. Scoop on ungreased cookie sheet with potato masher lightly dipped in flour.
    Press cookie down.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 until they are lightly browned.
    Cool on rack (don't remove from cookie tray for about 10 minutes), then place on toweling to cool.
