West Virginia Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon juice or lemon flavoring
1 c. shortening
4 eggs
1 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Mix all ingredients except buttermilk and beat at high speed for 2 minutes.
Add milk and beat at medium speed for 2 minutes. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 70 minutes in greased and floured tube pan.
